The inauguration took place at the DP World Economic Zones | Dominicana Free Trade Zone Park.
This momentous occasion marks the beginning of the company's operations in the country, where local investment is projected to reach US$40 million over the coming years, with an initial 50 job opportunities anticipated.

The modern warehouse boasts a capacity for 8,000 frozen pallets and a substantial ante-room for value-added operations.

The construction of the warehouse adhered to the EDGE Advanced sustainability standards, with a strong focus on creating an environmentally efficient operation. Notably, the facility utilizes refrigerants that are ozone-friendly and implements energy and water-saving systems, showcasing the company's commitment to sustainability.

The Dominican Republic is a renowned hub for product import and re-export to other countries in the region. Emergent Cold LatAm's warehouse is situated within the premises of DP World Dominicana, a port terminal recognized as one of Latin America and the Caribbean's key logistic hubs.
Enmanuel Bastidas, Co-founder and Managing Partner of Doven Foods, who was present at the inauguration, highlighted that the Dominican Republic plays a significant role in the production and export of cocoa, bananas, avocados, and a robust food industry.
